GU Brew Electrolyte Tablets are simple, light tasting and natural. They are invariably better than water alone and bring your system into balance more quickly by helping you retain more of the liquid you ingest.

I live and train in the hot & humid South. Had gotten used to adding salt to my sports drinks to prevent heat illness. Used this for the first time at the San Diego Marathon 2011 and loved how it tasted & performed. Pushed hard and remained strong & cramp free the entire time. This just became my 'Go To' product for training & racing in the heat!!
I put these in my gallons of water I keep with me every day and drink them for the electrolytes. Very mild flavor in the water and keeps me from cramping on runs and rides. Great stuff.
Tablets are becoming more and more popular but GU is the only one that actually has nutritional value. Pink grapefruit is especially good. Tastes like pink lemonade with a hint of grapefruit juice.
These have a lot lighter taste compared to other electrolyte / sports drinks (a great thing in my opinion on a run or bike).
I have a huge issue with overheating no matter what the temperature is. These things work magically to keep my electrolyte level up, with out adding so many extra calories. They are far superior to any other product that I have tried. Not to mention these things taste great!
After trying many different electrolyte drink tablets I can firmly state that Gu Brew Tabs are my favorite. The flavor is more intense than others and I love the ease of use. Like with any of these drink tabs beware the artificial sweetener taste that comes with them. Overall I really like these tabs!
Great product. Helps keep you cramp free during intense workouts, and it tastes great!
If you like the electrolyte brew these are definitely for you. Much easier to travel with than a container of powder or pre made bottles. Just drop one in and you're good to go. Also handy (for me) to throw one in a water bottle at work if I feel I've been slacking a bit in the hydration department.
Another great success from GU. These are my number 1 go to for long rides. Living in the Houston TX area it gets really hot on rides during the summer and without these there is no way I would be able to keep hydrated on longer rides. The flavor is great like all other GU products I have tried and the low calorie density seems to help it absorb that much faster than some hi calorie electrolyte drinks.
I'm training all the time now... Trying to do 12 ironmans so I can goto Ko a. So I started dropping these in my water all the time. Adds great flavor to my everyday drinks and my body is used to it 24/7 now.
I'm not a fan of the stevia sweetener GU uses. On the plus side it's better tasting and easier on the stomach than some other popular tablet hydration mixes. It's a bit effervescent, which make me burp and choke on occasion... All the electrolytes are there, but it's not for me.
Since using GU I have had no cramping issues. On the weekend I may cycle 150 kilometres including hill climbs. Previously I would return from a ride and cramp up. Obviously my electrolytes were low now I have no issues. Yeah.
When I travel, I always pack these so I don't have to worry about packing bulky heavy bottles of energy drinks. They're quick, convenient, & tasty!
I use these on the run. It tastes much better than the Nuun.. and my stomach seems to handle it better. Best for long runs or when you need extra hydration during the summer.
These tablets along with gu energy gel ensure that cramping and energy levels will be a non-issue. I am an ultra runner and have used this product religiously and cannot say enough about it. The tabs are easy to carry and pop into a bottle of water for a refreshing way to keep your electrolyte levels high and legs moving!!
I like to use these during my hot training rides, and as a post-run/workout drink to replenish my electrolytes. I love the Peach Tea and Strawberry Lemonade flavors. I am encouraged to drink more on hot days than I otherwise would with strict water.
Easy to use & so convenient! Keeps me from getting cramps
I especially like the tabs for runs under an hour when I don't need the calories, but still want the electrolytes. The taste is refreshing and light, not syrupy at all.
These tablets are the perfect way to keep things in check. They add the right amount of electrolytes to keep your day moving along without issues. Simple and effective!
This is great for those long, hot days when straight up water is not enough and you need extra minerals to help retain and replace electrolytes. This has a very nice, light flavor and really keeps me going.
I usually keep a couple on my bike and on me when I run. I have given them to friends I was training with that were bonking out and it helped them. Taste is pretty good.
Quick & delicious way to obtain lost electrolytes while keeping calories low. GU continues to amaze me with their quality products, not to mention wide variety and excellent flavors.
There are a lot of times I find myself using these and the convenience is great. All you really do is drop them in your bottle, give it a few seconds and boom, you've got an electrolyte drink ready to go. Now it doesn't have the calories like most drinks which is why I use them more in a recovery/pre-loading manner as opposed to race day nutrition. I like that I can leave a tube of these in my desk and drop one in on days when I'm already carrying loads of gear for AM and PM workouts. The flavors are nice and light (I like Peach Tea best) and the drink itself doesn't feel heavy or sugary. Obviously. Only downside is the price, IMO.
I have enjoyed using nuun tablets on my rides, but these seem to be just a bit better. I love the flavors.
These were great, but I'm only giving them 4 stars because they didn't exactly quench my thirst. I felt like I had to drink more than normal water to quench my thirst. Great product though!
I have been using these for the past two years for cycling, CrossFit, running and snowboarding. This is an excellent product, one of the best that GU makes. The electrolyte combination works really well and I especially like the fact that there are very few (almost no) calories. I find it works really well when taken first thing in the morning before an active day. I highly recommend!
I love all of the electrolyte tablets from GU. So nice to not have to mess with powders. Easy to carry and the taste is exceptional.
Wonderful and extremely convenient for a quick energy drink. Either during the day or in the middle of a long bike ride. I use these a lot during the summer training months and it tastes great. Strawberry Lemonade is the best! Even the little canister is fantastic, a great way to store and carry salt tabs during a run.
I like to use these the day before an ironman or other long race. On those days I feel like I need more than just water, but don't want the full Gu Brew or something sweeter.
Huge variety of flavors, easy to toss in a jersey pocket or backpack (much easier than a bag of powdered drink mix) and mild taste. I loved Nuun until GU started making these. Now i am hooked.
I love how easy and convienent the tablets are whether I am out on a ride or just dealing with a long day of class before my workouts. All the great flavors let me mix it up.
Daily value for Sodium is 2400 mg 100%dv. This product has 320grams per serving size. One serving provides enough sodium for running a 48 hour ultra marathon.
On cool days, I'm usually pretty content with strait water along with my GU gels or Chomps. On hot days (especially when I was training in AZ this summer!) you have to drink way more fluid than what you can absorb drinking pure water... it needs the salts to absorb at a fast enough rate to stay hydrated as well as to replenish the higher amounts of salt lost in sweat. And these work great for that. Also I usually stay away from any no or low calorie drink because they're plagued by aspartame, but these have stevia which from everything I've read is ok. So go ahead and drop a tab in on any days when you need to be drinking 30oz/hr or more.
This is one product I always have in my product mix. Super easy to use, it works great, and there are flavors for everyone. It will make you drink more than if you just trained with plain water and has a great electrolyte content. Highly recommended.
Flavor combined with convenience is what the electrolyte tablets have that keeps me coming back. I often find myself in a rush to get out of the door and these are so easy to work with. Strawberry Lemonade is very refreshing, especially during a long ride.
This is a great product to carry with you on a long ride. Simply drop one tablet in to your water bottle and you have a great tasting drink with electrolyte replenishment. It really help because sometimes on a long ride you have to get water from a hose or other source and that doesn't always taste the best. Awesome product and convenient.
So much better than all the completion including the likes of Gatorade and such. Easy to add to your water bottle and great for drinking while exercising, doesn't leave you with that awful dry mouth feeling. My favorites are the Peach Tea and Pink Grapefruit, everyone I give them to always mentions how great they taste!
