Chelsea Reilly Sodaro is an American distance runner and aspiring triathlete. Chelsea experienced success on the track as a teenager at Davis Senior High School in Davis, Ca. She continued to pursue running at the collegiate level and competed at UC Berkeley from 2007 through 2012; though plagued with injuries throughout college, Chelsea began to taste some success in her final year and became an All-American in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track. After she graduated, Chelsea won two national titles (2012 Road 10k, 2013 indoor 3k), achieved the World Championships A Standard in the 5k, and has PR’d at every distance. After competing in the U.S. Olympic trials in 2016, Chelsea decided to transition to multi sports. She currently trains in San Diego with The Triathlon Squad under the tutelage of Paulo Sousa.

Nutrition Tips

I usually top a Stroopwafel with almond butter and jam – the ultimate pre-workout PB&J. I’ve also been known to add Recovery Drink Mix to pancake or muffin batter. I stick with Roctane Drink for hard run sessions, but I prefer solids like Stroopwafels or Chew during a bike ride. I always bring a bottle of Hydration Drink Mix to swim workouts. Tastefully Nude is my favorite!
