Park City, UT

I started cycling around the age of nine and I was instantly hooked. For a long time I have always been a person to never give up. Cycling, as grueling as a discipline it is, I knew  was going to be perfect for me. It started off just at local mountain bike races and then moved onto the road and cyclocross bike. From there I moved from a more regional racing scene to the national and soon found what my true passion was. The part I truly love about cycling is in order to get to the top you need to work hard, which had frustrated me in other sports to put in all that time and have lack of results. Since I have started cycling I have made it over to Europe numerous times and I have raced for the U.S National Team on multiple occasions. I also ride for my current road team Hot Tubes Development Cycling Team. My current school I go to in Virginia gives me plenty of time to train and focus on studies which is all I could ever really ask for. Cycling is a sport where you get the benefits from all your hard work and after a long hard training day there is certain satisfaction that is hard to get anywhere else.

2017 Goals

My 2017 goals are to continue to head over to Europe and try to get some results there. I would also really like to make 2017 World Championship Team for Norway this year. And finally to continue to follow my passion on the bike.

Fun Fact

Last year I spent more days away racing than I did at home.

Nutrition Tips

Right before the going gets tough, such as a long climb I like to take a caffeinated gel, and I always make sure to take one every hour when its a long hard day in the saddle and always take my recovery within 45 minutes after a race or ride.
