FAVORITE NUTRITION HACK: Not so much a hack, but more of a holistic strategic plan. Practice on each day of training/life what you’ll do on race day. This applies to your sleep strategy, breakfast, mobility/warm-up routine, eating and drinking enough calories even on shorter runs, your recovery regimen, so on and so forth…then rinse & repeat. If you’re like clock work in your build-up, you’ll execute on the big day because it’s quite simply second nature at that point.

I want to inspire the next generation to chase after their athletic dreams to their fullest extent and live a life that they are proud of, ideally paying it forward and inspiring that next generation, too.
HOW ARE YOU DOING GOOD IN YOUR COMMUNITY?
In 2023 I took on a new role as the race director of a local ultra that happened to be the first 50k I ran back in 2017. 15% of our finishers were first time ultrarunners, which felt like an incredible full circle moment for me. I hope to continue to bring new people and an even more diverse group of athletes into the community in 2024 and beyond.
