WHAT MOTIVATES YOU? WHAT'S YOUR WHY?
I love setting goals, I love achieving goals and the sense of satisfaction that I get when I achieve something, no matter how big or small gives me such a HUGE rush of endorphins. As athletes we want to train harder and do better. I love to use my ability to inspire others and help those who are battling tough times mentally, by using my own story and my own struggles as a way of connecting. By combing those feel good endorphins and using them to help others, I feel as though I’ve found my calling in life and I LOVE that!
HOW ARE YOU DOING GOOD IN YOUR COMMUNITY?
I strive to inspire others through my endurance efforts on the bike, proving that incredible feats are possible even while battling mental health challenges. Beyond breaking barriers in ultra-cycling, I aim to break the stigma around mental health by sharing my journey openly and honestly. I'm accessible to anyone who needs support, whether it's advice on pushing limits or simply a listening ear. For me, it's not just about the miles-it's about empowering others to believe in their own strength and reminding them they're never alone in their struggles.
