WHAT MOTIVATES YOU? WHAT'S YOUR WHY?
I take every chance I can get to be outside—I just feel my soul soars in the open air. Even during my weekly sessions with a trainer, I cajole her into us stepping outside the studio to do lunges, squat jumps, overhead presses, etc. on the sidewalk! 

HOW DO YOU DO GOOD IN YOUR COMMUNITY?
My community is one my business partner and I built: Another Mother Runner. She and I like to say we lead from the middle of the pack, encouraging women (not just moms) to put themselves first on their to-do list at least once a day. We use our website, newsletter, retreats, and social media to educate and entertain women runners and walkers. My personal way to reach women is via our long-running podcast: We launched it in 2011, and there are now more than 800 episodes to get women out the door and moving. We do all the talking, even on the uphills!
