Chocolate Coconut brings out the best (dessert) in all of us. Right out the gate, this flavor strikes with a strong, toasty coconut flavor. But you only have to wait a moment for the rich, fudge-like dark chocolate that comes to balance things out. It reminds us of our favorite island-themed, chocolate-coconut cookies.
To start things off, yes – It does taste like a delicious creamsicle. After doing some flavor science testing, we quickly found that the classic vanilla-orange combo definitely works in an Energy Gel form. The real vanilla brings sweet and creamy, while the citrusy orange flavor brings a nice, mildly sour zip.
Pineapple makes for a great summertime flavor. Made with your favorite tropical fruit flavor, Pineapple is a fantastic option when looking for something slightly sour (but mostly sweet). It’s IRONMAN World Champion Rinny Carfrae’s favorite flavor, so if it’s good enough for Rinny, it’s good enough for us! (And just because it’s good during the summer, doesn’t mean you can’t be transported to a tropical paradise by eating it during those colder months!)

When we set out to create a new Roctane flavor crafted specifically for hot, dusty training and racing we asked athletes what flavor they crave in those conditions. Salted Lime was the clear winner. It’s a tart, mouthwatering burst of fresh lime flavor with a salty zing that will keep you feeling your best over the long haul. Plus, a portion of sale proceeds benefit the Western States Endurance Run Foundation.
